Claire shrugged. \u201cI\u2019m not sure either. She mentioned that she\u2019s going to start working for Emgrand Group. As for why she chose Emgrand, I have no clue.\u201d<\/p>\n

Charlie acknowledged her response, but a thought lingered in his mind. \u2018While the Thomas family may not compare to the Wades, they have a strong presence in Eastcliff. There\u2019s no reason for Loreen to abandon her family business and come to Aurous Hill to join Emgrand. Does she have an ulterior motive?\u2019 Skepticism filled Charlie\u2019s mind, and without any clear answers, he decided to wait until Loreen started at Emgrand Group so he could have Doris investigate her background and intentions.<\/p>\n

Charlie quickly stopped her. \u201cNo need for that. I have a friend with a great restaurant. Let me take care of it.\u201d<\/p>\n
