\u201cZach, I-\u201d Juliet began.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cStop wriggling.\u201d Zachary lowered his head to gaze at her as her flustered form reflected in his eyes. He gently set her down on the couch.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Instead of getting up, he knelt down on one knee beside Juliet and stayed close to her. His hand was still wrapped around her waist. Juliet could feel the heat coming off his palm into her skin.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cDid you hit yourself anywhere?\u201d Zachary\u2019s eyes were filled with tenderness as they fixed on her.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Juliet felt like she\u2019d been caught in an invisible web.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Her head was a little dazed at the moment. Her gaze fell onto a water droplet lingering on Zachary\u2019s neck, right where his Adam\u2019s apple was.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cAre you really okay?\u201d Zachary asked once more, his thumb gently caressing Juliet\u2019s temple. \u201d Your face is so warm.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
The cold sensation of Zachary\u2019s touch made Juliet flinch. She shrank backward as if she\u2019d been scalded suddenly.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Zachary\u2019s gaze darkened slightly upon seeing her shifty expression. He got to his feet, widening the distance between them.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cLie still and don\u2019t simply move around anymore,\u201d Zachary said in a tone that forbade any\u00a0<\/p>\n
disobedience.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Juliet had no choice but to stay put on the couch.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Zachary then quietly returned to the balcony, tending to the freshly-laundered clothes. He hung up each and every one of Juliet\u2019s undergarments with ease. There wasn\u2019t a hint of awkwardness in his movements whatsoever.\u00a0<\/p>\n
After doing that, Zachary brought Juliet a glass of warm water. He raised the rim to her lips and said, \u201cDrink some water.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cI can do it myself\u2026\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cBe a good girl now,\u201d Zachary said in a stern but tender tone.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Juliet then took small sips of the water from the glass while Zachary held it up for her.\u00a0<\/p>\n
After that, Zachary went to the kitchen to wash the glass before setting it back where it was. Juliet\u2019s entire apartment was tidier under his care than it was under hers.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cI should go,\u201d Zachary said. He stood in the foyer, turning back to Juliet with a smile on his lips. There was an innate tenderness in his eyes, which were very mesmerizing.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cZach\u2026 Thank you so much for today.\u201d Juliet struggled to get to her feet in order to see Zachary off.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cStay put.\u201d Zachary marched back into the living room and nudged her onto the couch. He then tucked a blanket around her and gently caressed her head.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThe only thing you have to do right now is to take care of your health,\u201d he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Tears pricked Juliet\u2019s eyes as she nodded. \u201cOkay.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
Zachary then left her apartment, closing the door behind him. The house instantly fell to silence.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The faint aroma of chicken noodle soup still lingered in the air.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Juliet gazed at the clean floor and folded clothes as she lay on the couch. She then touched her belly, sighing long and hard.\u00a0<\/p>\n
