Solomon, it’s good to see you found Faith. I’m glad she’s alright.”

Faith seethed. God, she hated his smile!

Solomon remained silent.

“Grandpa,” Haskell continued, “why are Solomon and Faith here? Are we having a family dinner tonight? If so, why didn’t you invite Fraser and Garrick as well?”

Faith gritted her teeth, forcing a smile. “Haskell, you know perfectly well why I’m here. Haskell truly did enjoy politely infuriating people.

Zoltan gestured for her to come closer. “That’s enough. Larissa, have a seat.”

“Of course, Grandpa Zoltan.”

Larissa pushed Haskell’s wheelchair to the sofa opposite Faith and sat down.

“Grandpa Zoltan, did you call me here today because you missed me?” Larissa asked, mirroring Haskell’s feigned innocence and completely ignoring Faith’s hateful glare.

Zoltan’s face broke into a warm smile. “Of course I missed you. It’s been too long since you last came

to visit.”

Larissa sighed dramatically. “Grandpa Zoltan, you have no idea how busy I’ve been running the company. But if you ever miss me, just tell Haskell like you did today, and I’ll be here in a heartbeat!”

“Good, good… hahaha…” Zoltan didn’t know why, but listening to Larissa talk just made him happy.

How could her grandfather still be laughing? Faith couldn’t take it anymore.

“Grandpa,” she reminded him with a hint of reproach, “don’t forget why you called Ms. Judson here today.”

Larissa feigned curiosity. “Grandpa Zoltan, what does Faith mean? You mean you didn’t call me here because you missed me?”

Faith stared in disbelief. How could Larissa still call her by her first name so casually at a time like this? How did she have the nerve?

“Ms. Judson, let’s stop playing games,” Faith snapped.

Zoltan’s smile faded, replaced by a sigh. “Larissa, my granddaughter claims you poisoned her.”

Chapter 510

“Poisoned her?” Larissa exclaimed. “Grandpa Zoltan, why on earth would I do that?”

“She says you did it to threaten her on Haskell’s behalf.” Zoltan then turned to his grandson. “Haskell, Faith told me that when she came to the estate the other day, you had her kidnapped. Is this true?”

“Grandpa,” Haskell said with a weary sigh, “why would I kidnap Faith?”

He then turned to face her directly. “Faith, why don’t you tell us? Why would I kidnap you?”

Seeing Haskell deny it without batting an eye, Faith grew furious. “Because you wanted to use me as a hostage to force my brother to give up his claim to be the Palmer family heir!”

Solomon knew, of course, that his sister was lying. Haskell had kidnapped her because Solomon himself had taken Draven, hoping to lure Haskell to Africa.

He just hadn’t expected Haskell to retaliate so swiftly by having his sister abducted.

Haskell simply looked helpless. “Wouldn’t it have been easier to just kidnap your brother directly? Why go to the trouble of kidnapping you to threaten him?”

Solomon knew they had no evidence to prove Haskell had kidnapped Faith. Without proof, even if their grandfather suspected the truth, he would never admit it. So he cut in, “Who kidnapped my sister is no longer important. What’s important is that she has been poisoned, and only Ms. Judson has the cure. To that end, I brought Finley here to confirm it.”

He turned to Finley. “Isn’t that right, Finley?
