Finley struggles desperately to lift himself off the floor but his trembling arms give out, leaving him weak and defeated. Despite his physical helplessness, he glares defiantly at Larissa, who cruelly threatens to sever the tendons in his leg with his own knife. Finley warns her that their grandfather\u2019s favor lies with him, not her, and that she will face consequences if she harms him. Larissa, however, reveals she has no interest in the family fortune and only returned to see if they felt guilt for what happened to her. Finding none, she coldly decides to make Finley experience pain as a lesson in empathy.<\/p>\n
