As I tried to place it, the young man sprinted away, disappearing arwind a crime as y\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>as he\u2019d appeared.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The entire incident lasted less than a minute.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCedar, I think my back is broken, Jonathan moaned from the ground. Help me up, please\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I remained rooted in place, my mind still trying to identify the mysterious young man. I sneaked away from Grandma and got on a plane back home. What a handsome, clever\u2013looking boy.\u201d His voice turned sickeningly sweet. \u201cI suppose that makes me his grandfather. I should give him a proper welcome gift.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Mom turned back to him with ice in her eyes. \u201cYou\u2019re no grandfather to him, Mr. Wright. I have no connection to the Wright family anymore. Please stop trying to claim relationships that don\u2019t exist.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCedar,\u201d he persisted, dusting off his suit, \u201cyou called me \u2018Dad\u2018 for over twenty years.
