Alessandro had cheered up and gotten discouraged in an instant. What he desired was a place he couldn\u2019t go to, and in the end, he had only been left with more questions than before; an even greater mystery troubled his mind.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Who was his mother really?\u00a0<\/p>\n
That was something that had started when Cassian had told him that she was the author of that book in which fairies and elves were mentioned, but what Maya\u2019s brother had told him had only fueled his unease\u00a0<\/p>\n
even more.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Maya had an expression of anxiety and fear on her face. She feared for her brother\u2019s safety, that the fairy queen would find a way to bind her brother to the fairyland, just like she was. Barto noticed her anxiety and fear. He looked at her and said, \u201cMaya, I won\u2019t go to the fairyland, so change that face. I like money, but not more than my freedom, so change that face.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI would like to give you this. It\u2019s not the same as the mirrors you wanted, but it\u2019s something similar. With these necklaces, you\u2019ll be able to communicate with Abril and hear her voice as if she\u2019s beside you. Alessandro handed him the book of tales and took his daughter in his arms. Lissana continued to look at\u00a0<\/p>\n
Barto as if she was curious about him.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Barto sat on the couch and started reading that book of tales. All the stories that appeared in that book left Barto very surprised. He asked Alessandro, \u201cWho was supposed to be your mother?\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
