Don’t you think?”

“I hope it will be as you say. I have been in this village my whole life. Everyone here is like a big family. The girl approached her and, with a hoarse and barely audible voice,

asked, “Do you have something to eat?”

Abril felt her heart break at the sight of the girl. When Abril entered, she saw a man, a woman, and two young girls lying on the floor. The girl told her, “They can’t move. They’re very sick. You will cure them, won’t you?”

Part # The Market In The Well

+25 Points

Abril could see the terror of losing her family in the girl’s eyes. She caressed her head and said, “No, they won’t die. They will be fine soon, I promise you. I’ll need some water. Could you go get it?”

Sadly, the girl said, “The little water we had ran out, and the water from the well is contaminated.”

“Don’t worry about that. The water is no longer contaminated. Why don’t you go and check it?”

The girl took a clay pot and ran to the well to get water. Once alone, Abril approached the girl’s farmily. They looked very bad, half–dead. She infused her magic into them, and immediately their faces regained

color.

After making sure they would be fine, she left before the girl returned. Taren had gone to look for her and

said, “Your Majesty, where were you?”

“I was helping a girl. Shortly after, she started to wobble. Taren held her in his arms

before she fainted.

“What should I do with her?”

“She must be exhausted. Find a place to lay her down, and then go to the well for water. We need to hydrate them.”

“Alright.”

Abril asked another villager who was helping the same thing she had asked the young woman who had fainted. After seeing the herbs they had, when Taren returned with the water, she prepared a chamomile tea and started to distribute it among the sick.
