She\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>stopped at each one of them and bought something from all.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As she passed by a food stall, she saw two very thin children gazing at the\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>stomachs.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>and touching their\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Abril had touched her stomach countless times like those children were doing when she was a\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>child; she understood what it meant, they were hungry. Abril approached the food stall and ordered several meat skewers, and after paying for them, she approached the children and offered\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>one to each.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAre you hungry?\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The children nodded energetically; seeing the food made their mouths water, but they hesitated for a moment, unsure if they should take what was being offered to them.
