The feeling of her\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>destiny being tightly gripped by someone else, unable to\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>deviate no matter how she struggled, was too suffocating.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow did you end up like this?\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Madeleine murmured the question, not expecting an answer\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>from Zoe, but more as if asking herself.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She was guessing, wondering if Zoe\u2019s madness was really\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>because of the awakening.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause I\u2019m useless now.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Zoe chuckled, repeating the same hysterical line from before.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After she spoke, she turned her head strangely to look at\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Madeleine.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Chapter 111\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019re useless now too. Forgetting all\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>the stupid things you\u2019ve done, that\u2019s pretty good.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After she finished, she looked up at the ceiling.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou know, when I found out I was just a supporting character\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>in Edward\u2019s world, do you know what my first reaction was?\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Madeleine looked at her and shook her head.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy first reaction was to kill him.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKill him?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>You can\u2019t kill him.
