All she could hear was his hot breath by her ear.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRoderick?\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Madeleine patted his shoulder and called his name.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The only response was his long, even breathing.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He was\u2026 asleep!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Madeleine blinked a couple of times, and it took a moment for\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>her to process what had happened.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She couldn\u2019t help but look up at the ceiling as countless\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>thoughts raced through her mind.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It seems like those TV dramas weren\u2019t lying.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>People really do fall asleep in the middle of a kiss\u2026\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Roderick seemed even heavier now that he was asleep, and\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Madeleine couldn\u2019t get him up to take him to a room.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Luckily, the study\u2019s sofa was big enough.
