Penelope and Kai stared at me, mouths slightly agape, eyes wide with disbelief, as if I had completely lost my mind.

Sebastian’s expression was worse. His brows furrowed, and his lips parted slightly. I opened my mouth to say something, but before I could, I felt a strong around my waist.

I froze as Hades’s warm breath brushed against my ear, his voice low. “Are you trying to turn me on, princess?”

I blinked, caught off guard. “What?”

He leaned in closer, his lips barely grazing my ear as he spoke again. “Calling me your husband in front of everyone, do you know how hard I’m getting from that alone?”

My entire face flushed crimson. “H-Hades Sinclair,” I hissed, glaring at him. “Control your urges.”

He grinned against my skin, completely unfazed. “Can you blame me? The reason I’m marrying him is because I love him. It was… love at first sight.” I forced out a small laugh. “When I saw him, I just knew he was going to be my husband. I paused briefly, then nodded, “Alright, but make sure you take care of yourself. I’ll come as early as tomorrow.”

Sebastian’s expression softened.
