That night, after her shower, Scarlett stood in front of her vanity, wrapped in a towel. She stared at her reflection for a long time before picking up her phone. She needed to call Vincent.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He answered on the first ring-unusual, since he usually ignored her calls. \u201cWhat is it?\u201d His voice was cold, no hint of warmth.\u00a0<\/p>\n
