\u2018I\u2019m going to explode,\u201d I protested after finishing most of it.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She disappeared into the back and I turned to find Kiara, Leah, and Sarah all watching me with huge smiles.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat?\u201d I asked.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is so exciting,\u201d Leah said. \u201cYou\u2019re getting married and we get to help you find the perfect dresses.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cNo pressure or anything,\u201d I said with a nervous laugh.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The consultant came back with an armful of dresses and we started the trying on process, the first dress was beautiful but too formal for the mating ceremony, the second was perfect for the mating ceremony but I couldn\u2019t picture wearing it, the third was too simple, the fourth was too elaborate.\u00a0<\/p>\n
We went through twelve dresses at the first shop and while I liked several of them, none of them felt right, none of them made me feel like a bride.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s okay,\u201d Sarah said as we left the first shop empty\u2013handed. \u201cWe have three more appointments, we\u2019ll find them.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
The second shop was similar to the first, lots of beautiful dresses but nothing that spoke to me, I was starting to get discouraged by the time we got to the\u00a0<\/p>\n
