He called back, but the line was busy.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Yep, that\u2019s classic old-fox behavior.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>James had flown to Trensea today for the House of Myur charity gala tomorrow night. Instead of staying in a hotel, he planned to crash at Draven\u2019s place.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On the couch, he called the regional manager of his favorite luxury brand and asked them to send a few suits he\u2019d picked from the official website for fitting.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Right after hanging up, there was a knock at the door.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>2\/4\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>That fast?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>James opened the door cautiously. A mechanical sound said the unlock failed.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>James cursed Draven silently but stayed calm. He gave the guards a charming smile. \u201cLet\u2019s go.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Laura got home and saw a message that Troy would be back for dinner. She\u2019d spent the whole afternoon waiting for Ayla, but she never showed up.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>So Laura had to cook dinner again.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Laura tried calling Ayla to slack off, but, as usual, couldn\u2019t get through.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Furious, Laura reluctantly started cooking.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Around dinnertime, Troy arrived home.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Laura was afraid of Troy, so usually after serving the food, she would leave.
