\u201cThey\u2019re going to stay here with us, so I expected you to be more considerate towards them. I don\u2019t want any of your bratty attitude; am I understood?\u201d His voice was filled with authority.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
I scoff, \u201cYou can\u2019t be serious. Please tell me you\u2019re joking.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t fool around, Dylan. I\u2019m dead serious, and I expect your full cooperation,\u201d he ordered.\u00a0<\/p>\n
I sneer, \u201cNot going to happen.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s not up for discussion. I\u2019m not asking for your permission; I\u2019m merely informing you of my decision.\u201d He ended our conversation with those words. \u201cLet\u2019s go, Sarah,\u201d he said as he helped Sarah with her things as she held the baby in her arms.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Sarah and Beckett were once lovers. I met him first, but he fell in love with my best friend, Sarah. I\u2019m the type of girl who always gets what she wants. And that\u2019s what I did: I trapped Becket into marrying me despite knowing that he\u2019s in love with Sarah.\u00a0<\/p>\n
That time, it really didn\u2019t matter. I\u2019m beautiful and rich, so I\u2019m sure, in time, Beckett will fall in love with me during our marriage if I just become an attentive, compassionate, and caring wife.\u00a0<\/p>\n
