The food\u2019s almost ready. Go sit down and wait.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Then, out of the corner of his eye, he saw her bare feet. His expression tensed, and he lifted Isabelle into his arms.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhy aren\u2019t you wearing shoes again?
