Once I was ready , I shifted into my wolf form and lunged at the bear .<\/p>\n
Yes , my wolf was much smaller than the bear, but she was fierce , and she wouldnt back down from a fight .<\/p>\n
She also had very sharp claws , and her teeth did major damage when she bit .<\/p>\n
Tabby backed away as I took over the fight , lunging at the bear and attaching myself to its back until it went down completely .<\/p>\n
The bear growled and tried to swipe at me again , but it was too slow for my fast movements , and I bit into its neck , ripping it apart .<\/p>\n
Blood pooled into my mouth , and I should have been disgusted , but I didnt .<\/p>\n
I felt a strange sense of victory and a lot of pride .<\/p>\n
Tabby watched in awe as I singlehandedly took down the bear .<\/p>\n
Her eyes were wide as she kept her hands clutching the remaining rocks she held .<\/p>\n
Once the bear was officially on the ground and struggling against me , Tabby took the initiative to retrieve the flag from around its neck , dropping the remaining rocks on the ground .<\/p>\n
She also grabbed my clothes and started towards the entrance of the cave , not wanting to waste another moment .<\/p>\n
I took her lead , and as soon as the bear was down , I chased after her , leaving the cave before the bear had a chance to wake up .<\/p>\n
My fur was covered in the bears blood , but I knew it was still alive .<\/p>\n
It would soon wake up and live life as if this had never happened .<\/p>\n
I didnt kill it ; I only knocked it out .<\/p>\n
Once we were out of the cave , I quickly shifted back into my human form and grabbed my clothes from her .<\/p>\n
Even my human skin was covered in blood .<\/p>\n
She fell over in a fit of laughter , tears in her eyes .<\/p>\n
Holy shit ! That was insane .<\/p>\n
Wait until we tell everybody what had happened , she laughed .<\/p>\n
I couldnt help but smile , too , now that the adrenaline was starting to wear off , my heart rate had settled .<\/p>\n
As if on cue , the drone returned and captured us with the flag .<\/p>\n
I smiled at the camera , showing off the flag so everybody watching knew what we had just done .<\/p>\n
The flag had some blood on it , too , from the bear .<\/p>\n
Thats a really bad scratch , Tabby pointed out , glancing at my arm .<\/p>\n
Itll heal , I told her , not worried about it ; shifters healed f Yeah , but you should clean it up anyway , she told me .<\/p>\n
I nodded as we headed back to the campsite .<\/p>\n
What happened to you two ? Sherry asked , rushing towards us .<\/p>\n
When she saw the flag , her eyes lit up .<\/p>\n

A couple of us should do some hunting so we can have food later , and well need more water as well .<\/p>\n
