Anger surged through me, and I heard the low growl of my wolf. If I didn\u2019t get him under control, everyone would see me lose it entirely. I knew I was projecting a powerful aura and soon, the entire resort would feel it as well.<\/p>\n
I excused myself from Levi as I walked toward Judy. My eyes glared at her, and she was oblivious to it. However, the second she saw me, shock registered on her face. I grabbed her arm before she could say a word and pulled her out of the party room and into the hallway. She stumbled over her own feet, wincing in pain and I momently felt like a jackass because I knew her ankle still hurt her despite the fact that she was no longer wearing a cast.<\/p>\n
I pressed Judy into the wall, pinning her beneath my body. She trembled and I wasn\u2019t sure if it was out of fear, or desire.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou shouldn\u2019t be here. Are you trying to make me look stupid?\u201d I sneered. I didn\u2019t like how I sounded. I knew I sounded like a jerk, but I couldn\u2019t help myself.<\/p>\n
\u201cHow does me being here affect you?\u201d Judy bit back, giving me a shove so I\u2019d loosen my grip on her. I had to hand it to her; I liked the fact that wasn\u2019t afraid to stand her ground and she never held back when it came to me. She wasn\u2019t afraid of me\u2026 it was refreshing.<\/p>\n
\u201cComing to stalk me\u2026 affects me,\u201d I said, my eyes landing on her full lips. She was nibbling on her lower lip, drawing my attention. I knew she was only doing it out of a nervous habit, but it made me want to taste her lips.noveldrama<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd who said anything about stalking you?\u201d She asked, her eyes glancing at my mouth before she met my eyes again.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat else would you be doing here?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cPerhaps you should pay more attention,\u201d she replied, giving me another shove. \u201cNow can I go back to the party room? I\u2019m quite hungry and would like to get some food before it\u2019s all gone.\u201d<\/p>\n
I wanted to argue with her that she shouldn\u2019t be eating the meal prepared for the competitors. I could just take her to dinner myself and we can have a meal in the small city. I couldn\u2019t explain it, but I had this strong urge to get her out of this resort and hide her away. A large part of me wanted to protect her in more ways than I could.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou shouldn\u2019t be walking around,\u201d I warned her.<\/p>\n
She was about to say something more, but then voices in the party room stopped her. They were right by the door and easy to pick up on.<\/p>\n
\u201cHas Judy Montague arrived yet?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cNot yet, Alpha. I\u2019ll let you know as soon as she does.\u201d<\/p>\n

I recognized the voices as Levi and his Beta. I furrowed my brows, confused by what I had heard.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhy would Alpha Levi be speaking to you about?\u201d I asked, narrowing my eyes at her; I had her pinned against the wall again within a second.<\/p>\n
\u2018How am I supposed to know?\u201d She asked through her teeth. \u201cIt\u2019s not your business.\u201d<\/p>\n
A smirk played on my lips.<\/p>\n
\u201cDid you come here to seduce me?\u201d I asked her, my voice low and sultry, my breath brushing across the side of her face, making her body tremble beneath mine.<\/p>\n
I knew she wanted to give in; she was seconds away from caving. I was good when it came to these types of games. The door to the party room started to open and I knew it was my queue to break what was happening between us. I pulled away from her in time for Beta Ron to walk into the hallway, freezing when he saw us.<\/p>\n
\u201cAlpha Landry,\u201d Beta Ron nodded at me before his eyes flickered to Judy and widened. \u201cAlpha Levi requests that you speak with him once you arrive.\u201d<\/p>\n
I narrowed my eyes at Ron and then glanced at Judy.<\/p>\n
How did Levi even know she was coming here?<\/p>\n
\u201cDo you know what it\u2019s about?\u201d Judy asked as she spared me one last look and then turned to walk into the party<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sure it\u2019s about your first day competing tomorrow,\u201d I caught Ron saying as the door shut, leaving me in the hall alone, my mouth agape.<\/p>\n
