Did he really think I was so cruel and conniving that I would purposely hurt someone to get what I wanted ? The only thing I wanted was to work hard and pay off my fathers debt , I wasnt looking for anything and I certainly didnt want to hurt anyone .<\/p>\n

Here , put this on , she said , handing me a white crop top and a pair of Capri jeans .<\/p>\n
I took them and went into her bathroom .<\/p>\n
The clothing fit a bit tighter than it would have fit her because shes smaller than me , but it wasnt uncomfortable , and they were honestly cute .<\/p>\n
I slid my shoes back onto my feet and brushed out my hair , taking it out of tight restraints .<\/p>\n
I splashed some cold and sprayed some body spray on myself to make myself smell better .<\/p>\n
Once satisfied , I left the bathroom to meet with Irene .<\/p>\n
She smiled widely at me when she saw my appearance You look amazing , she breathed .<\/p>\n
You can just put your dirty clothes in my hamper .<\/p>\n
The maids will clean it later .<\/p>\n
I hesitated , but I eventually did what she said and put the dirty clothes in her hamper near her closet .<\/p>\n
Irene draped an arm through mine and gave me another wide smile .<\/p>\n
Come on , she said , motioning for me to follow her .<\/p>\n
I followed after her ; we went down the stairs and I saw that Gavin was speaking to his driver , Leroy , at the front door .<\/p>\n
Irene frowned and folded her arms across her chest .<\/p>\n
What are you doing ? She asked , narrowing her eyes at her father .<\/p>\n
Leroy is going to take you girls into the city , he answered .<\/p>\n
Chapter 0092 I was planning on driving my new car , Irene said with a pout .<\/p>\n
Im not arguing about this , Gavin growled , clearly not in the mood .<\/p>\n
I wondered if he was angry because of our conversation .<\/p>\n
I decided against pressing him and turned to look at a fuming Irene .<\/p>\n

After a moment , she relented and followed Leroy outside .<\/p>\n
I only hesitated a moment , glancing back at Gavin who was watching me .<\/p>\n
His expression was indifferent and making a nervous pit form in the middle of my stomach .<\/p>\n
Without a word to him , I turned and followed Irene and Leroy outside .<\/p>\n
We both got into the backseat while Leroy got into the drivers seat .<\/p>\n
Leroy , roll up the window , Irene ordered , her tone hard .<\/p>\n
Leroy glanced at us briefly from the rearview mirror before he pressed the button that rolled up the window separating the backseat from the front seat , giving Irene and me privacy .<\/p>\n
Irene let out a breath of air Im sure shes been holding .<\/p>\n
Everything okay ? I finally asked after we remained silent for most of the drive .<\/p>\n
She glanced at me , and I could see the turmoil in her eyes .<\/p>\n
I just wanted to get away , she murmured .<\/p>\n
Away from everything and everyone , but that makes it hard when my father enlists his men to watch over me like a hawk .<\/p>\n
Its just Leroy , I told her .<\/p>\n
