Scarlett. Kael.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Each of them flinched beneath my stare, unable to meet my gaze. Even Kael, all fire and fury a second ago, broke eye contact first.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I knew what they were doing. What they were hoping for.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>That I\u2019d fall silent again.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>That I\u2019d back down.
