Get out! All of you-leave!\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Still reeling from the shock of being caught in the act by Aysel, and now faced with a sudden flood of strangers, Celestine nearly lost her mind.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The sheets had long since been kicked away in the frenzy. Panicking, she snatched the only pillow left by the headboard and pressed it to herself, face burning crimson.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Yet Damon utterly ignored the humiliation of being witnessed. Please, continue,\u201d he said hastily. After aause, he pushed the door open again, keeping his back firmly turned as he raised his voice.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAh-just\u2026 maybe stop for now? Something\u2019s happened onboard. The color drained from his face until it was nearly bloodless.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The awkward cabin check finally ended.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>At the far end of the corridor, the last missing kidnapper appeared-dragging Fenrir out of his room at knifepoint.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Aysel couldn\u2019t help but reflect that wolves really did far better in packs.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Look at tonight-every lone wolf had ended badly.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This pattern was painfully familiar.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Magnus and Aysel had already lived through it once.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Seeing that the target had been found, Magnus ignored Fenrir\u2019s pleading stare.
