Rowan\u2019s desk sat about ten feet outside the CEO\u2019s office. His curved workstation housed stacks of documents. There were two empty seats nearby for secretaries, who were probably all in the meeting.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sienna seemed lost in her own world. She touched her face and feigned surprise. \u201cOh, my makeup looks a little smudged.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
At that moment, Rowan returned with coffee and set it on the table. Sienna casually rummaged through her bag and \u201d accidentally\u201d dropped a sheet of paper. She let it flutter onto the floor.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat are you trying to say?\u201d Sienna\u2019s smile faded slightly, and her guard went up.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Clayton leisurely loosened his tie. His next words were incredibly cruel.\u00a0<\/p>\n
