Why don\u2019t you get Ella to introduce you to some, and you can chase after them instead?\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Noah\u2019s temple throbbed, his patience reaching its limit. Evan seemed to understand that this annoying man was Silas\u2018 rival.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He huffed indignantly. \u201cMister, you should just give up. You can\u2019t compare to my uncle. He\u2019s way more handsome and richer than you are, and he treats Aunt Betty way better. You\u2019re nowhere near good enough for Aunt Betty!\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Bethany watched the elevator numbers jump to the basement floor. \u201cLet\u2019s go, Evan. Which rival?\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He directed that last question at Bethany.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Bethany pressed her lips together. \u201cWe ran into Noah in the elevator.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Silas let out a light laugh, his tone dismissive. \u201cOh, him.
