She had intentionally chosen a man with a good personality but limited business skills. She feared that if her husband were too capable, he might try to interfere in the Ouyang family\u2019s affairs.<\/p>\n

Her eldest sister\u2019s husband, for instance, was an exceptionally talented man, yet he focused solely on taking care of her daily meals and raising the children. He never got involved in the Ouyang business unless his wife sought his advice\u2014then he would offer a few suggestions.<\/p>\n

Ning Yunchu explained, \u201cYour aunt is already taking your big brother and Beibei with her. How could she bring along a mischievous little one like you? If she took you, all your other brothers would want to go too.\u201d<\/p>\n

Serenity laughed and added, \u201cAuntie really can\u2019t take that many kids. Next time, when your mom is free, we\u2019ll all go out and play together.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I want to go to Uncle Qi\u2019s house now. Uncle Qi, can I come play at your place?\u201d<\/p>\n
