He had been indifferent moments before but immediately reacted, saying, \u201cTell her to leave. I don\u2019t want to see her. Tell her not to come here again.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>The bodyguard sighed internally at Duncan\u2019s outburst.<\/div>\n<div>Every time Liberty visited, Duncan always reacted this way.<\/div>\n<div>It was evident to everyone that Liberty was the cause of Duncan\u2019s pent-up emotions.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cLet Liberty in,\u201d Mrs. Lewis insisted, countering Duncan\u2019s wishes.<\/div>\n<div>The bodyguard hesitated, torn between the two.<\/div>\n<div>Upon hearing his mother\u2019s words, Duncan anxiously turned over and attempted to get off the bed.<\/div>\n<div>However, his leg injuries had not yet healed, and he was unable to walk. In his attempt to roll over, he fell off the bed with a loud thud.<\/div>\n<div>Mr. Lewis, who had been reaching for a glass of water, quickly dropped it and rushed to assist his son.<\/div>\n<div>Mrs. Lewis and Elder Young Mistress Lewis hurried in as well. They quickly joined Mr. Lewis in helping Duncan back onto the bed.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cTell Liberty to leave! I don\u2019t want to see her!\u201d Duncan shouted, his face pale and slick with cold sweat from the pain in his leg.<\/div>\n<div>He was desperate to avoid Liberty witnessing him in such a vulnerable and helpless state.<\/div>\n<div>Duncan could not bear the thought of seeing sympathy in her eyes.<\/div>\n<p>He didn\u2019t require anyone\u2019s sympathy. If he\u2019s disabled, then that\u2019s how it is. He spent the remainder of his life in a wheelchair. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cOkay, don\u2019t let her in. Tell her to go back,\u201d Mrs. Lewis quickly instructed, trying to soothe her son\u2019s emotions. <\/p>\n<p>Turning away, Mrs. Lewis was overcome with tears. <\/p>\n<p>The bodyguards refused to allow Liberty entry, and a disturbance could be heard from the ward by Liberty, who was blocked at the door. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cMiss Liberty, our Fourth Young Master Lewis does not wish to see you, so please return,\u201d a bodyguard informed her. <\/p>\n<p>Unlike her usual demeanor, Liberty didn\u2019t leave quickly this time.
