Did you call me all by yourself?\u201d<\/div>\n<div>\u201cYeah. I took Mom\u2019s phone and hid in a room to call you.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>\u201cWhat do you want to tell me?\u201d Serenity found it amusing that her nephew had hidden away just to make the call. He was becoming quite the little rascal.<\/div>\n<div>Learning self-defense at the gym had made Sonny more courageous.<\/div>\n<div>At his age, he was articulate and increasingly charming.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cDunc is here again, Aunt Ser.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>\u201cDoesn\u2019t Dunc come over every day?\u201d Serenity was aware that Duncan visited his sister daily.<\/div>\n<div>Sonny replied, \u201cHe does, but Dad told me Dunc is here to take Mom away from me. Dad said to call him whenever Dunc shows up.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Hearing this, Serenity silently reprimanded Hank.<\/div>\n<div>Hank had married<\/p>\n<p>Jessica was eager right after her sister and Hank got divorced. The couple had been excitedly anticipating the birth of their child, while Jessica\u2019s sister had already found a new suitor. However, Hank was determined to sabotage that. <\/p>\n<p>Was her sister not allowed to marry someone else while he could? Regardless of whether Liberty chose to remarry, Hank\u2019s influence on Sonny revealed his narrow-mindedness. A scoundrel would always remain a scoundrel; his true nature could not be changed. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAunt Ser, do you think I should call Dad?\u201d Sonny asked. The two people he trusted most were his mom and Aunt Ser, but he was hesitant to ask his mom that question since she and Dad were divorced. He had finally grasped the meaning of divorce, so his only option was to consult Aunt Ser. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo you think Dunc is here to take your mother away from you, Sonny?\u201d Serenity countered with a question. After some thought, Sonny replied honestly, \u201cLast time, Dunc told me he was here to join Mom and me. He\u2019s not a bad person.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince you believe Dunc isn\u2019t trying to steal your mom, you don\u2019t need to worry about what your father said.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhy did Dad say that?\u201d Sonny asked. After a brief silence, Serenity replied, \u201cYour father just thinks it\u2019s unfair. Don\u2019t let it bother you. It\u2019s fine as long as you and your mother don\u2019t dislike Dunc.
