He abandoned Sonny and fled.”

She turned to look toward Elisa’s car and added, “Sonny is in Elisa’s car.”

Throughout the conversation between Serenity and Zachary, the Browns realized that Sonny had been close to being taken as well.

Mrs. Brown cried out, desperate to see her grandson.

At that moment, Liberty took Sonny by the hands and exited the car.

“Sonny! Everything is fine now,”

Hank reassured his mother.

Standing up, Mrs. Brown wiped her tears and turned to give her son a playful shove. She pointed a finger at him. “This is your fault. None of this would have happened if you two hadn’t taken the kids to the zoo.”

“It was fortunate that Sonny asked Serenity to join us. Otherwise, I might suspect that you brought the children to the zoo to be kidnapped, if you weren’t Sonny’s father and Lucas’s uncle,”

Mrs. Brown said, causing Jessica’s face to pale.

As Mrs. Brown’s angry gaze fixed on her, Jessica struggled to respond, “I was just trying to bond with Sonny. No one wanted this to happen.”

Mrs. Brown shot Jessica a disapproving look,

believing that the woman brought bad luck. Since her son married Jessica, the family had experienced a series of unfortunate events. A simple trip to the zoo with Sonny turned into a kidnapping attempt. These individuals were audacious enough to try and abduct children in broad daylight. Embarrassed, Jessica lowered her head and looked hurt. Feeling sympathetic towards his wife, Hank defended her, saying, “It was an accident, Mom. No one wanted this to happen. I had told Sonny from the start that I would take him to the zoo. Why are you blaming Jessica?” Mrs. Brown shot him a glare. “You always come to her defense. One day, you’ll regret it.” “Let’s go home, Liberty,” she commanded. Not wanting to stick around for the Brown family’s drama, Serenity informed her sister and went to pick up Sonny. Zachary took Sonny from Serenity’s arms. “Uncle Zack!” Sitting in his uncle’s embrace, the little boy excitedly recounted his zoo experience, unaware that he had narrowly escaped a disaster just moments before. Zachary kissed the boy on the cheek and affectionately said, “I’ll go with you the next time you want to see the animals.” With him around, no one would dare to harm Sonny. Although today may have seemed like an accident to the public, Zachary and Clive suspected something more sinister.

Chapter 1175 Serenity replied, “My sister managed to get a firm grip on Sonny, and I kicked the kidnapper.
