He explained, \u201cBoys have to do a lot of heavy lifting, and wearing a dress makes that quite difficult.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>\u201cWhy do boys do the heavy lifting?\u201d<\/div>\n<div>\u201cBoys take on the hard work so that girls don\u2019t have to. We leave the lighter tasks for your mom and aunt.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Somewhat understanding, Sonny replied, \u201cI\u2019ll do the heavy lifting when I grow up, so Mom and Aunt Ser have less work.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Zachary smiled and said, \u201cGood boy, Sonny.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Duncan was left speechless.<\/div>\n<div>Ring, ring, ring\u2026<\/div>\n<div>The intercom phone was ringing.<\/div>\n<div>After setting Sonny down, Zachary got up to answer the call.<\/div>\n<div>He quickly hung up and informed Sonny, \u201cYour mom\u2019s here.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>\u201cMom\u2019s here!\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Upon hearing that his mother had arrived, the little boy immediately stuffed the dress into a bag and began searching for his wet pants. Unable to find them, Sonny asked, \u201cUncle Zack, where are my other pants?\u201d<\/div>\n<div>\u201cThey were wet, so I put them in the washing machine,\u201d Duncan replied.<\/div>\n<div>Sonny didn\u2019t respond as he exerted himself to carry the large bag of clothes outside.<\/div>\n<div>He also reminded Zachary, \u201cUncle Zack, don\u2019t forget to return the pants once they\u2019re clean and dry.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Zachary smiled and said, \u201cOkay. I\u2019ll return the pants to you. They don\u2019t fit me anyway.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>The little boy even remembered to bring home his soiled pants.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cSonny, don\u2019t take the dress. Dunc will return it. Your aunt will give you a pretty little sister to play with. We don\u2019t need to return the dress; you can keep it as a gift for her.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Sonny nodded solemnly. <\/p>\n<p>He planned to buy many dresses for his little sister once Aunt Ser had her. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cMr. York, the meeting is starting,\u201d Mr. Chaplin knocked on the office door, reminding Zachary of the time. <\/p>\n<p>Zachary wanted to take Sonny to the lobby, but after glancing at the clock, he handed Sonny over to Duncan. \u201cSonny, can Dunc take you downstairs to your mom? I need to go to a meeting. I have to earn a lot of money for your little sister\u2019s formula.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cSure.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Sonny was reluctant to let Duncan hold him, but being sensible, he understood that Uncle Zack needed to make money for his little sister, so he wouldn\u2019t bother him. Formula was expensive. Sonny often went with his mother to buy it and had seen her handing over a lot of money for the tasty milk. <\/p>\n<p>Duncan carried Sonny along with the bag of new clothes to the elevator. <\/p>\n<p>Liberty was waiting in the VIP lounge in the lobby. <\/p>\n<p>She typically closed her business around noon, but since Zachary had taken Sonny to the office, she worried that he might wake up and disturb Zachary. As Sonny struggled to reach the ground, Duncan bent down and set him free.
