Serenity was unaware that her partner had everything arranged while she enjoyed a relaxing soak.<\/div>\n
After emerging from the bathroom, she found Zachary sitting on the bed. Approaching him, she wrapped her arms around the back of his neck and gently pressed him onto the mattress, positioning herself on top of him.<\/div>\n
\u201cHoney, you\u2019re killing me,\u201d he said, his voice raspy as he referred to his beloved wife.<\/div>\n
With a smile, Serenity brushed her lips across his face, showering him with soft kisses before rolling away. She playfully kicked him. \u201cOff to the shower with you! You smell like cigarettes.\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cI didn\u2019t smoke,\u201d he protested.<\/div>\n
\u201cWell, someone did. The smell has definitely clung to your clothes,\u201d she replied.<\/div>\n
Zachary inhaled the scent of his clothes; there was no trace of tobacco. Still, he trusted his wife\u2019s words and headed for the shower, changing into a fresh outfit afterward.<\/div>\n
By the time he emerged, Serenity was peacefully asleep in dreamland.<\/div>\n
Zachary gazed at her tranquil face, sometimes feeling envious of her ability to find peace.<\/div>\n
Serenity could maintain her daily routine of meals and rest, regardless of what was happening around her. She refused to let anything disrupt her sleep or her three meals a day.<\/div>\n
She quickly moved past difficulties and approached life with an open mind, never lingering on problems for too long.<\/div>\n
In essence, Serenity was an optimist; she believed that tomorrow would always bring improvement.<\/div>\n
Leaning closer, Zachary pressed a kiss to Serenity\u2019s face and softly whispered, \u201cHave sweet dreams, honey. Dream of me.\u201d<\/div>\n
The next morning, Serenity woke up refreshed after a dreamless night, so she hadn\u2019t dreamed of Zachary.<\/div>\n
When she got up, Zachary was busy preparing breakfast in the kitchen.<\/div>\n
Thinking that Grandma May was not home, Serenity strolled out of the bedroom in her pajamas, drawn by the enticing aroma.<\/div>\n

The aroma wafted through the kitchen as Serenity embraced Zachary from behind. She rested her face against his back and purred, \u201cBabe.\u201d <\/p>\n

Her alluring voice had the power to make Zachary melt. <\/p>\n

As Zachary turned around for a morning cuddle and kiss, he noticed Grandma May entering from the balcony. <\/p>\n

She walked into the kitchen and unexpectedly stumbled upon the couple kissing. <\/p>\n

Wanting to act as if she weren\u2019t there, Grandma May tried to sneak away, but Zachary spotted her. <\/p>\n

Upon hearing Zachary call for his nana, Serenity quickly released her hold on him and turned to Grandma May, her face flushed a deep scarlet. <\/p>\n

\u201cZack, have you seen my reading glasses? I can\u2019t find them. Oh, I\u2019m getting old; I can\u2019t see without them,\u201d Grandma May said. <\/p>\n

She pivoted to leave, mumbling to herself, \u201cI put them on the coffee table, but now they\u2019re gone.\u201d <\/p>\n

Both Zachary and Serenity knew that Grandma May never actually wore reading glasses. <\/p>\n

\u201cDid Nana come home last night?\u201d Serenity whispered the question once Grandma May left the room. <\/p>\n

Zachary\u2019s gaze deepened as he took in Serenity in her pajamas, reminding him of the first time she had opened the door in those same pajamas after they got married. <\/p>\n

\u201cGo back to your room and change. You should only wear that when it\u2019s just us at home. Of course, I wouldn\u2019t mind sexier lingerie, but I prefer you covered when there\u2019s someone else around,\u201d he advised. <\/p>\n

Serenity playfully pinched his arm and replied in a hushed tone, \u201cI thought we were alone at home! You didn\u2019t even tell me Nana was back. Thank goodness I didn\u2019t do anything embarrassing.\u201d <\/p>\n

The thought of that made her feel utterly mortified. <\/p>\n

While her pajamas were relatively modest, she had a habit of removing her bra while sleeping\u2026 <\/p>\n

Realizing this, Serenity crossed her arms over her chest. \u201cI\u2019m going back.<\/p>\n

\u201cto the room to change.\u201d She quietly returned to the bedroom. Zachary laughed softly. There was no reason to feel embarrassed in his presence.<\/p>\n
