Assuming the scoundrel was attempting to kidnap Sonny, he immediately slammed on the brakes and halted in front of All You Can Eat.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cSonny!\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Duncan quickly exited his car and strode over. Before Hank could react, Duncan snatched his son from his arms.<\/div>\n<div>After taking Sonny from Hank, Duncan even kicked him, causing Hank to stumble backward and fall onto the steps, landing on his rear.<\/div>\n<div>Hank stared at Duncan in shock.<\/div>\n<div>What was this Lewis doing?<\/div>\n<div>He took his son and even kicked him!<\/div>\n<div>\u201cGet out of here! If you dare try to kidnap Sonny again or bother Liberty, I\u2019ll ensure you won\u2019t be able to walk by the time I\u2019m finished with you!\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Hank was left speechless.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cDad!\u201d Sonny cried, squirming to get down.<\/div>\n<div>Hank stood up and explained, \u201cMr. Lewis, you\u2019ve misunderstood. I\u2019m not here to kidnap Sonny, nor have I harassed Liberty. I\u2019m simply taking Sonny to the park to play, as he requested.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Duncan glared at him, clearly unconvinced.<\/div>\n<div>He walked straight into the shop, carrying Sonny.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cLiberty!\u201d<\/div>\n<div>He shouted as he entered, his voice always on the rough side.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cHas that scumbag been bothering you again? He\u2019s trying to kidnap Sonny, isn\u2019t he?\u201d<\/div>\n<div>There had been previous incidents involving the Browns attempting to kidnap Sonny.<\/div>\n<div>Liberty emerged from the small kitchen and was momentarily stunned to see Duncan with Sonny. Then she said, \u201cMr. Lewis, you\u2019re here. I did ask him to take Sonny out to play.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>\u201cSo it was my misunderstanding\u2026\u201d Duncan said.<\/div>\n<div>He placed\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Sonny turned to Hank and said, \u201cThat\u2019s fine. You should take Sonny out to play then. I didn\u2019t use much strength in that kick earlier, so you should be able to handle it, right?\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Hank\u2019s expression darkened, looking as if it were dripping with black ink. <\/p>\n<p>Duncan\u2019s earlier kick had indeed been quite hard; it had caused Hank to stumble back a few steps and land on his backside. <\/p>\n<p>However, under Duncan Lewis\u2019 intense glare, Hank didn\u2019t dare utter a word and simply left after picking up Sonny. <\/p>\n<p>Once outside the shop, he coaxed his son, \u201cSonny, let\u2019s not go to the park today, okay?\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhy not?\u201d Sonny asked. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cDidn\u2019t you see that scary man in your mom\u2019s shop? He\u2019s so fierce that even Dad is afraid of him. Mom would definitely be scared too. If we go to the park and leave her alone in the store, she might be bullied by that cruel man.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cSonny\u2019s a little man, so you need to learn how to protect Mom,\u201d Hank added. <\/p>\n<p>Duncan\u2019s presence made Hank reluctant to leave. He wanted to stay there, even if Liberty tried to chase him away with a broom.
