He turned and placed the two boxes on his desk before taking her hand and leading her to the sofa.<\/div>\n<div>His intense gaze was fixed on her.<\/div>\n<div>Callum thought to himself, \u2018If he could pop out his eyeballs and attach them to Serenity, he would do it without a second thought.\u2019<\/div>\n<div>\u201cThis isn\u2019t the first time I\u2019ve visited your office. You don\u2019t need to pick me up. I brought you food, so eat it while it\u2019s hot. Eating on time each day will help your stomach recover.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Zachary smiled. \u201cThank you, honey.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Serenity couldn\u2019t help but pinch his cheerful face and smile back. \u201cIs the company giving out bonuses today? Everyone I saw was in such a good mood.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Callum laughed and added, \u201cSerenity, having you here is more rewarding than any bonus.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Zachary glanced at his brother.<\/div>\n<div>\u2018Didn\u2019t you notice my wife brought me lunch? Why are you still standing there like a statue? Move!\u2019<\/div>\n<div>\u201cCallum, bring the lunch over. I brought plenty of food, so there\u2019s enough for both of you.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Callum quickly grabbed the lunch boxes from the desk and placed them on the coffee table. He sat down and was about to open the boxes when he noticed Zachary\u2019s intense stare.<\/div>\n<div>Callum froze.<\/div>\n<div>The smile had faded from Zachary\u2019s face, and his dark eyes glared at his brother as if throwing daggers.<\/div>\n<div>Callum felt a shiver run down his spine from the glare.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cI\u2013I\u2019ll just open the boxes for you to see what Serenity prepared, Zachary.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Despite being glared at, he opened the boxes as if nothing were amiss.<\/div>\n<div>Chapter 962<\/div>\n<div>2\/2<\/div>\n<div>Upon seeing the food, he complimented Serenity on her excellent cooking skills, as the dishes emitted a mouthwatering aroma.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cIt smells wonderful.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Callum carefully unpacked each layer of the lunch boxes and arranged them on the coffee table. Alongside the food, there was also soup.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cI have plans for lunch, so I won\u2019t compete with Zachary for the food. Serenity, enjoy your conversation. I\u2019ll take my leave now.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>With that, Callum stood up and exited.<\/div>\n<div>Zachary\u2019s tense expression finally relaxed once Callum left sensibly.<\/div>\n<div>Serenity did not push for Callum to stay and eat with them after he mentioned his lunch plans.<\/div>\n<div>As Callum opened the door and stepped outside, Zachary\u2019s smile returned.<\/div>\n<div>Just as the smile appeared, the office door swung open again, and Callum re-entered.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cWhat are you doing back here?\u201d Zachary snapped at him.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cI forgot to grab the photo. I\u2019m heading to the hotel now, so I\u2019ll bring it to Kevin while I\u2019m there.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Grandma May was proceeding in chronological order. Callum, being her second grandson and just one year younger than Zachary, would turn thirty this year, while Kevin was a year younger than him. Both were at the age where marriage was expected.<\/div>\n<div>Previously, Zachary had been the primary target of Grandma May\u2019s matchmaking efforts. Now that he was married, it was only natural for her to shift her focus to Callum and Kevin.<\/div>\n<div>Callum walked back to the desk and picked up the photos he had brought to show Zachary. However, Zachary didn\u2019t even look at them.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cLet me see the photos.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Zachary had previously shown no interest because the pictures featured women Grandma May had selected for Callum and Kevin.
