How did you know, Nana?\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Could it be that it didn\u2019t only occur in his dreams?<\/div>\n<div>He had a huge argument with Serenity and uttered some unthinkable things in a fit of anger, which somehow ignited deeper feelings within him\u2026.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cNana, I\u2013I had quite a bit to drink. What did I say or do to Serenity while I was intoxicated?\u201d<\/div>\n<div>If he had been drunk enough to use force against Serenity\u2026.<\/div>\n<div>Jesus!<\/div>\n<div>Zachary needed to stop his thoughts from spiraling further.<\/div>\n<div>Alcohol could truly complicate matters!<\/div>\n<div>He was inebriated.<\/div>\n<div>Grandma May set down her cane and said, \u201cHow am I supposed to know what you did to Serenity? You were rambling after downing several bottles. I thought you needed help to sober up. How do you feel now? Is your mind clear?\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Zachary paused before answering, \u201cI\u2019m sober.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Grandma May\u2019s method of sobering him up could have dire consequences if he awakened too late. He might end up needing to reconcile with Serenity in Heaven.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cCan drowning your sorrows really solve your problems?\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Zachary shook his head. \u201cAt least I can forget my troubles for a while.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>\u201cAre your troubles still present now that you\u2019re awake? Or do they feel worse? You can say and do anything while drunk.\u201d He might<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou might think it\u2019s just a dream, but you could be acting it out in real life.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Zachary turned as pale as a ghost. <\/p>\n<p>He anxiously asked, \u201cWhat happened to Serenity, Nana?\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t know.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Grandma May\u2019s intimidation tactic was effective, but she had no idea how Serenity was doing since it was Josh, not her granddaughter-in-law, who drove her inebriated grandson home last night. <\/p>\n<p>Zachary spun around to leave. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cCome back! What time do you think it is? She\u2019ll give you attitude if you wake her up at this hour.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>It was five o\u2019clock in the morning, still well before dawn. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlso, change out of those wet clothes. You look like you just took a bath in your outfit.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Ignoring her, Zachary continued to walk out. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cJosh was the one who took you home last night.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Grandma May had to be honest before her drunken grandson approached Serenity looking like that. <\/p>\n<p>Judging by his pale face, Zachary must have done something to Serenity in his dreams. She would likely be confused if someone pounded on her door first thing in the morning. <\/p>\n<p>Suddenly, Zachary halted and quickly turned back to Grandma May. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cJosh drove me home? Did I do anything to Josh?\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Fuming, Grandma May smacked his arm and scolded, \u201cGod knows what you did to Josh. He left right after dropping you off. He didn\u2019t even come in for a drink.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Zachary looked dejected. <\/p>\n<p>Grandma intentionally asked, \u201cZachary, what happened in your dream? Josh is your most trusted friend. He dropped you here and then ran away. Did you confuse him with Serenity?\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cNana!\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Zachary hissed through gritted teeth, \u201cI don\u2019t remember anything!\u201d <\/p>\n<p>His mind was fixated on asking his<\/p>\n<p>Two best friends are out at Neon Nights. He needed a drink after Serenity proposed signing a new contract with him. She needed time to adjust to his status as the heir of the Yorks. While she would attempt to adapt to his world, she wouldn\u2019t force herself if it wasn\u2019t right for her.
