She leaned in to peek into the pan on the stove and declared, \u201cI\u2019m too hungry to lie down. It\u2019s just the two of us, so we don\u2019t need much.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>\u201cI\u2019m making five dishes. Would you like some fruit since you\u2019re\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAre you hungry?\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Serenity could infer what he was preparing based on the ingredients he had set aside. She responded, \u201cThese dishes won\u2019t take long. I\u2019ll wait.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>At that moment, the doorbell rang. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWho could that be?\u201d Serenity asked. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI couldn\u2019t find your favorite shrimp in the fridge, so I asked Mrs. Lane where she usually gets it. Even if Serenity got upset when his secrets were revealed, Zachary would never let her go. <\/p>\n<p>With a smile, Serenity replied, \u201cWe just became a real couple. Let\u2019s not talk about divorce.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>She loosened her grip around his waist. \u201cContinue with your cooking. I\u2019ll get the shrimp. You can skip the delivery next time.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s your favorite.
