I don\u2019t like injections; they hurt.\u201d \u201cIt\u2019s for your own good. Just give me a tiny piece.\u201d Serenity washed the apple and sliced it into four pieces before handing one to Zachary. <\/p>\n<p>As he took the slice, Zachary asked, \u201cWhy didn\u2019t you peel the skin off?\u201d Serenity replied, \u201cI always eat it with the skin, just like when I eat shrimp. I\u2019ll eat the shrimp with the shell if you don\u2019t peel it for me.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Zachary smiled and said, \u201cGet me discharged, and I\u2019ll take you to enjoy the seafood here. The city is near the coast, so the seafood is abundant and cheap. You can eat to your heart\u2019s content.\u201d \u201cWe\u2019ll talk when you get better,\u201d Serenity replied. \u201cSeren, my temperature hasn\u2019t gone down, but I feel better than yesterday. He sensed that Mr. York\u2019s glare had grown more intense when he saw him with the nurse. If looks could kill, Mr. Tank would be dead right now. <\/p>\n<p>It wasn\u2019t as if he had suggested switching the medicine for a shot; that was Mrs. York\u2019s idea. Serenity finished her lunch and said, \u201cTake the first dose now. You can have the second dose after dinner.\u201d \u201cSeren, can I just have one shot?\u201d Zachary pleaded. \u201cNo,\u201d she replied firmly. \u201cIt hurts. I don\u2019t want it anymore,\u201d he whined. \u201cWhat can I do?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo make you feel better?\u201d Zachary pouted. \u201cI won\u2019t feel better unless I don\u2019t get the jab.\u201d Serenity removed her mask and replied, \u201cI can make your time enjoyable and provide you with something else to think about.\u201d She leaned in closer, but Zachary anticipated her move and halted her.
