Minutes later, Serenity sat up in bed deep in thought. She then got out of bed, began packing her belongings, and returned them to her room.<\/div>\n
She decided she would no longer sleep in his bed.<\/div>\n
Frustrated, she moved back to her room to sleep.<\/div>\n
Zachary was also sulking.<\/div>\n
He received a message from Serenity and read it, but didn\u2019t respond. Instead, he quickly deleted it.<\/div>\n
All he could think about was how Serenity accused him of being narrow-minded and not treating him like family.<\/div>\n
After placing his phone on the desk, Zachary stood up and began pacing the office, feeling incredibly annoyed.<\/div>\n
Eventually, he made himself a cup of coffee.<\/div>\n
After drinking it, he forced himself to calm down and return to work.<\/div>\n
He planned to work through the night.<\/div>\n
Serenity was so angry that she tossed and turned, unable to fall asleep. However, after about an hour, she ceased her anger. This was not the first time he had behaved this way. If she got upset every time, her life expectancy would likely shorten. It simply wasn\u2019t worth it.<\/div>\n
So, she let go of her anger and drifted off to sleep.<\/div>\n

In reality, Serenity hadn\u2019t done anything regarding that matter either. Her aunt\u2019s introduction had already scared off the Brown family\u2019s mother and daughter. The decision was up to Liberty.<\/div>\n
Liberty chose to reconcile for Sonny\u2019s sake.<\/div>\n
Since it was her sister\u2019s decision, Serenity respected it.<\/div>\n
That man even focused on how Duncan knew about it but had been kept in the dark.<\/div>\n

Instead, she found herself in the dark. Duncan was Liberty\u2019s boss; wasn\u2019t it reasonable for him to be aware of events occurring in front of his company? It wasn\u2019t as if she had intentionally informed Duncan about it. Serenity felt that Zachary\u2019s jealousy was quite unreasonable.<\/p>\n

It was late into the night by the time she fell asleep. Meanwhile, Zachary, who was away on a business trip, consumed two cups of coffee that kept him awake until dawn. The following day, he continued his work.<\/p>\n

According to Josh, whenever Zachary became angry, he immersed himself in his work. His productivity was exceptionally high, which left his team struggling to keep pace, resulting in them having to work overtime. While this was manageable for a day or two, the situation became problematic when they found themselves working late every night, leading to complaints from everyone in the company.<\/p>\n

Serenity woke up late due to her late bedtime. By the time she got up, Mrs. Lane had already taken care of most of the morning tasks, including making breakfast, feeding the pets, watering the plants, and relaxing on the swing chair.<\/p>\n

Serenity yawned, feeling a headache and sore eyes, likely due to poor sleep quality. Despite having slept for enough hours, she suspected her discomfort stemmed from the anger she had felt before drifting off.<\/p>\n

Glancing at the clock, she gasped softly, \u201cIt\u2019s eight o\u2019clock!\u201d She was unsure if her sister was going to work, but she knew she had to go pick up Sonny.<\/p>\n
