You know my alcohol tolerance isn\u2019t great, and my sister won\u2019t let me drink anymore.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Jasmine teased her, \u201cI thought you\u2019d be more adventurous now that your husband is away on a business trip.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cDon\u2019t make it sound like I\u2019m afraid of him,\u201d Serenity replied. However, she actually feared letting loose, worried that Zachary might return, get jealous, confront her, and reignite their cold war. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow about we go see a movie tonight?\u201d Serenity suggested. \u201cThe students will be on winter break soon, and our shop will close for New Year\u2019s. It\u2019s a perfect time to relax and unwind.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI thought you planned to catch up on your orders during the holidays?\u201d Jasmine questioned. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cEarning money is important, but we also need to make time to enjoy ourselves. There are several new films out right now, and I\u2019ve seen so many people posting their movie ticket stubs on social media. It\u2019s been ages since I\u2019ve watched a movie. Let\u2019s go tonight.\u201d Jasmine lowered her voice and asked, \u201cDoesn\u2019t your husband take you to the movies?\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Serenity also lowered her voice as she replied, \u201cHe\u2019s so busy every day that he doesn\u2019t have time. I\u2019ve had a lot on my plate lately.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The main issue was that they had lacked feelings for each other in the past. They had shared a roof but had remained emotionally distant.<\/p>\n<p>There was hardly any form of communication between them, let alone going on dates or watching movies. The two of them didn\u2019t even hold hands while walking down the street. \u201cMr. Bucham constantly invites me to the movies, but I always say no.\u201d Serenity was taken aback. \u201cYou turned him down?
