Despite being second cousins, their bond was as strong as that of brothers.

A bodyguard dressed in black entered the room and addressed the two men respectfully, saying, “Mr. Julian, Mr. Josh. Mr. Zachary York has arrived.”

“Let him in.”

The bodyguard nodded respectfully and turned to leave.

Josh gestured toward the yellow envelope on the table. “Zachary is here to collect that.”

“He came in person because he wants to meet with me.”

Julian instructed the butler to prepare tea and serve some fruit for their guest.

Julian often leveraged his family’s influence to assist Josh, primarily to help Zachary. Zachary was well aware of this, which is why he came personally to express his gratitude to Julian.

“Zachary wanted to meet you for a while, but you’ve been busy and frequently away from home, so he hasn’t had the opportunity.”

“Since he’s your friend, he’s also my friend. Friends support one another, so he doesn’t need to be formal. I’m pleased to see that you’ve proven your worth at York Corporation.”

Julian patted Josh on the shoulder. “Work hard, but don’t let work consume you. You should start considering marriage. Your mother keeps mentioning how you still don’t have a girlfriend at your age.”

“Julian, you’re older than I am, yet you don’t have a girlfriend either, so why should I worry?”

Julian replied, “Never mind… Forget I said anything.”

The earlier bodyguard invited Zachary in.

Zachary’s security team assisted in carrying the gifts he brought and quietly retreated to the entrance.

“Zachary!”

Josh stood and walked toward him.

Julian also rose but allowed Zachary to approach him first. Josh introduced them, and the two men extended their hands.

“Julian, it’s nice to finally meet you,” Zachary said, extending his hand.

“I’ve heard a lot about you, Zachary. Now that I’ve met you in person, I can see that you’re just as legendary as they say,” Julian replied, shaking Zachary’s hand. He then invited Zachary to take a seat.

“Mr. York, you really didn’t need to bring so many gifts,” Julian remarked.

“Don’t worry about it,” Zachary responded.

Zachary frequently enlisted Josh’s help for investigations, utilizing the Buchams’ extensive network of information. Julian controlled this intelligence, so Josh assisting Zachary was effectively Julian offering his support as well.

Julian was typically elusive, which meant Zachary rarely had the opportunity to meet him in person. It was a rare occasion that Julian was home tonight, prompting Zachary to hurry over.

After exchanging some pleasantries, Josh handed Zachary a yellow envelope. “This is the evidence you requested. We wouldn’t have realized how shocking it is if we hadn’t dug into it. Your scumbag brother-in-law has over a million dollars in savings.”

“His greed is growing, and he’s earning more side income. I think it would be thrilling to present this evidence to his boss,” Zachary replied.

In reality, there was no need to suppress Waltham Electronics. Simply presenting evidence of Hank’s bribes and commissions to Waltham’s CEO would effectively end Hank’s managerial career.

However, since Waltham Electronics was a competitor of York Corporation, Zachary aimed to use this opportunity to undermine them.

Once Waltham Electronics could no longer withstand the pressure, York Corporation would present the evidence of Hank’s side income and threaten to expose them unless they fired Hank and Jessica.

By that point, Waltham Electronics’ CEO would undoubtedly harbor a deep resentment toward Hank and Jessica for the turmoil they caused the company.

He was causing trouble for no reason and making life difficult for the cheating couple. This way, Zachary could simultaneously suppress his opponent while confronting Hank and Jessica, effectively killing two birds with one stone. Zachary pulled the proof of Hank’s property transfer from the envelope and, after reading it thoroughly, became furious. His grandmother had informed him that the divorce agreement Hank had prepared claimed the house and the car were his, and that he had limited savings. Consequently, Hank was only willing to offer Liberty thirty thousand dollars. After tallying Hank’s savings, including the money spent on Jessica, Zachary estimated it to be over two million dollars. If Liberty filed for divorce and divided their assets, she could potentially receive at least a million dollars.

Chapter 464 Josh was conversing with Julian.
