She glanced at them a few more times as they packed up.

Her attention quickly shifted to Elisa.

Elisa did not set Sonny down and asked, “Who is she, Sonny?”

Serenity straightened up and responded lightly, “What brings you here, Aunty?” Then, she explained to Elisa, “She’s my sister’s mother-in-law and Sonny’s grandmother.” She emphasized the word “grandmother.”

Elisa looked at Lucas, whom Olivia was holding, and then at Sonny. Sonny had greeted his grandmother only once and showed no further interest, indicating a lack of closeness. She suspected that the relationship between Liberty and her mother-in-law was strained.

“Sonny usually doesn’t have playmates, so I went back to bring Lucas over today to play with him,” Olivia explained briefly. When her grandson attempted to break free to play with the two large boxes of toys, she released him, allowing Lucas to access the toys himself.

“They’re mine,” Sonny declared.

Little children often feel protective of their belongings.

Sonny was no exception.

Lucas loved to grab his toys. If Sonny resisted, Lucas would hit him. If Sonny cried, his aunt would insist that he shouldn’t cry because he was a boy, claiming that Lucas was just playing and wouldn’t take them away.

Sonny was not convinced by his aunt’s reassurances.

Although young and unable to understand many things, Sonny knew that Lucas would always take his toys when he left. Even if Lucas didn’t take them, he would often destroy them.

Sonny slipped from Elisa’s arms onto the floor and went to pull Lucas away, preventing him from playing with his toys. “Sonny, don’t push your brother. There are so many toys available. You both can play together,” Elisa said.

When Olivia noticed Sonny pushing Lucas, she instinctively intervened, pulling Sonny away to stop him. The three girls watched Olivia’s actions and felt a surge of anger.

Elisa, closest to Sonny, stood up and took him from Olivia’s grasp. She then moved the unboxed toy collection closer to her. With a cold expression on her beautiful face, she said, “Excuse me, how do you teach your children? Taking someone else’s belongings without permission is stealing.

“Moreover, I bought all these toys for Sonny, so they rightfully belong to him. If he chooses not to share with Lucas, then Lucas cannot play with them. If Lucas wants to play, he can purchase his own.”

When Lucas realized that Elisa was denying him access to the toys, he immediately lay on the ground, rolling around and crying while coughing.

“Lucas, Lucas!” Olivia exclaimed, quickly lifting her grandson. She then turned to Serenity and asked, “Who is that woman, Serenity? Why is she arguing with a child? Sonny and Lucas are close cousins. What’s wrong with Lucas playing with his brother’s toys?”

Serenity’s expression darkened, and her tone was harsh. “Sonny’s toys belong to him. They can only play together if Sonny is willing to share. If he isn’t, then Lucas cannot play.”

“Your two sisters raised Sonny poorly. He doesn’t know how to love his own brother,” Olivia accused angrily.

Chapter 373 Olivia soon entered, carrying Chelsea’s third child.
