\u201cI\u2019ve spoken to Liberty about this, Chelsea. She refuses to assist.\u201d<\/div>\n
This was not a promise Hank could guarantee.<\/div>\n
Since the incident of domestic violence, the couple had not reconciled.<\/div>\n
Now that Hank had Jessica, his primary focus was on keeping his lover satisfied, while the woman at home was no longer a priority.<\/div>\n
Liberty seemed to have found her voice. She used to give in easily, but now she stood her ground.<\/div>\n
Their marriage had reached an impasse.<\/div>\n
Though they lived under the same roof, they slept in separate rooms.<\/div>\n

Hank had already informed his sister that he would not be transferring the house to her. She could forget about him returning even a dime. She was welcome to remove the bricks from the wall if she chose to. Chelsea asked, \u201cWhat\u2019s the point of you giving me the house if there\u2019s no one to handle school runs, cook, and tutor the kids?\u201d Hank replied, \u201cWhy not quit your job and take care of the children at home? My brother-in-law earns a good salary and can support you financially.\u201d <\/p>\n

Chelsea rolled her eyes and responded, \u201cI work for a large corporation; it would be a waste to quit my job.\u201d Moreover, she knew she would become the next Liberty if she became a full-time housewife. Chelsea wasn\u2019t foolish enough to give up her job. She had been with her company for many years and earned a decent salary. Her parents also contributed to household expenses, and Chelsea and her husband rarely spent much. This allowed her the freedom to buy clothes and skincare products without financial concerns.<\/p>\n

While her husband might treat her well initially if she quit her job and stayed home without an income, she doubted it would last. Her brother was a prime example. Hank had been generous to Liberty when she first became a housewife, but what was their situation now? <\/p>\n

\u201cHank, talk to Liberty tonight, and be kind about it,\u201d Chelsea advised, lowering her voice. \u201cI\u2019m on your side, but honestly, you were at fault last time. Plus, you\u2019re dating\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
