Hank extended his right hand to shake Shawn\u2019s hand.<\/div>\n
During the handshake, Shawn commented, \u201cI believe I\u2019ve heard your name before, Mr. Brown.\u201d<\/div>\n
Hank\u2019s name sounded familiar to him.<\/div>\n
Hank felt flattered. \u201cHave you heard of me, Mr. Lowe?\u201d<\/div>\n
It was a pleasant surprise for Hank to realize that he had made a name for himself among professionals to the extent that the unfamiliar Mr. Lowe had recognized him.<\/div>\n
Shawn grinned and replied, \u201cYour name rings a bell. I must have heard it from someone, but I\u2019ve never met you in person. Well, that\u2019s changed tonight.\u201d<\/div>\n
Hank quickly retrieved his business card and handed it to Shawn. With a smile, he said, \u201cMr. Lowe, it\u2019s an honor to meet you. Here\u2019s my business card. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you.\u201d<\/div>\n
Shawn glanced at the business card before putting it away.<\/div>\n
His gaze then shifted to Jessica, who wore a broad smile. Although she was stunning, Shawn only gave her a brief glance before looking away.<\/div>\n
In Shawn\u2019s eyes, the best woman was Serenity; he had eyes only for her. As the group gestured for Shawn to sit down, everyone began drinking and discussing business, leading to a pleasant conversation.<\/div>\n
Liberty emerged from a baby shop after purchasing formula and diapers. While the formula was stored in the stroller, there were too many packs of diapers to fit in it.<\/div>\n
The shopkeeper had informed her of a buy-five-get-one-free offer on diapers, so Liberty ended up buying six packs.<\/div>\n
The stroller wasn\u2019t designed for much storage.<\/div>\n
Frustrated, Liberty redialed Hank\u2019s number.<\/div>\n

\u201cDo you know how busy I am? Do you think I work in customer service and can take your calls 24\/7? Don\u2019t call me again unless it\u2019s an emergency. It\u2019s disrupting my work.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cWhen are you coming back?\u201d <\/p>\n

Ignoring his criticisms, Liberty moved past his question and continued with her own. <\/p>\n

Hank snapped back irritably, \u201cIt\u2019s your fault for buying so much. You should only get what you can carry. I\u2019m busy and don\u2019t have time to pick you up. Can\u2019t you call your sister? Didn\u2019t she just get a new car? Have her come get you.\u201d <\/p>\n

He then ended the call. <\/p>\n

Since Serenity\u2019s husband worked at York Corporation, he must have a good salary. Just over a month into their marriage, Zachary had bought Serenity a car and paid for it in full. Hank thought it was great that his sister-in-law had a car, as it meant Serenity could drive Liberty and Sonny around. That way, Liberty wouldn\u2019t need to bother him for help, which was annoying. After her husband hung up, Liberty paused for a moment but didn\u2019t call her sister. She placed four packs of diapers on the stroller and carried two more by hand while struggling to push her son in the stroller forward. <\/p>\n

The mother and son attracted a lot of attention on the streets. <\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t long before Liberty became exhausted. <\/p>\n

Her thoughts drifted back to when she had just gotten married. No matter where she was or what she was doing, Hank would drop everything to pick her up with just a phone call. <\/p>\n

Now, he hung up on her whenever she reached out for help.<\/p>\n

Lost in thought, Liberty didn\u2019t notice the pavement and crashed the stroller into a brick. Only God knew who had left the brick there, and no one cared to move it. The stroller was overloaded, and with Liberty holding it up with one hand, it tipped to the side. Sonny fell to the ground and began to cry.<\/p>\n
