If you genuinely want to treat me, how about you get home early this evening and whip up a feast? His mind raced with possibilities\u2014was it Clive? Clive had never supported Elisa\u2019s advances. Every time she loitered outside Zachary\u2019s office building, Clive or his wife would come to escort her away, making it clear they disapproved of her behavior. This led Zachary to believe that Clive wouldn\u2019t have provided Elisa with his number.<\/p>\n

Frustrated and confused, Zachary cursed the unknown traitor who had betrayed him. The boldness of Elisa\u2019s confessions and her persistent pursuit made his skin crawl.
