She made extra breakfast and asked me to bring some for you. It’s not healthy to eat out all the time.”

“You used to eat out all the time, Zack,” Callum pointed out.

Even though the meals were served at their own hotel, it still counted as eating out. Setting his coffee cup aside, Callum eagerly opened one of the food containers, lifting the lid with anticipation. “I couldn’t stop thinking about Serenity’s cooking ever since I had a taste of it last Saturday.”

“Wow! Just look at the variety, abundance, and presentation! I bet it’s delicious.” Callum exclaimed, opening both containers and gasping at Serenity’s creativity. Not only was she talented in crafts, but her cooking skills were impressive as well.

No wonder Nana took a liking to Serenity and insisted that Zack marry her. She was the perfect combination of beauty, grace, and talent.

Noticing Callum’s excitement, Zachary casually mentioned, “Serenity woke up early this morning to prepare a nutritious breakfast spread as a thank you for helping her. I couldn’t finish it all, so she packed some for you.”

Callum was momentarily speechless.

He quickly curled his lips into a smirk. “Surely, Serenity only packed the food you didn’t touch.”

Zachary fell silent, realizing that had he known, he would have taken a few bites from everything. Callum wouldn’t be so pleased if he were eating Zachary’s leftovers. “Anything else, Zack?”

“What? Why are you so eager to kick me out after I brought you food?”

As Zachary shot Callum a mock glare, his eyes landed on a copper wire craft sitting in the corner of the desk. It resembled a miniature tree.

Zachary picked up the craft for a closer look, remarking, “I believe this art piece is from the same artist as the…

Nana had proudly showcased Serenity’s craftworks throughout the house, making them impossible to overlook.

“Nice catch,” Callum said as he settled down and began enjoying the homemade breakfast. He added, “Serenity made it. When I dropped Nana off at the shop, she was busy stocking up on inventory and gifted me a miniature copper tree.”

“There’s a reason Nana favors Serenity,” Callum continued, a hint of admiration in his voice. “She has a real talent. It’s as if she breathes life into her creations. Ever since I placed her craft on display, everyone has been raving about how beautiful it is. Many even went online to purchase some for themselves.”

“I recommended Serenity’s online business to them. It should help her increase her sales,” he concluded confidently.

Zachary, who had been quietly observing, set the miniature tree down and said softly, “Enjoy your breakfast, but remember to get back to work afterward. Don’t slack off.” He turned and walked away.

With a mouth full of food, Callum called out, “Bye, Zack. See you around.”

Zachary paused at the door and glanced back at the tiny tree. He didn’t say a word as he opened the door and exited.

Noticing the tension, Callum chuckled and muttered to himself, “Could he be feeling a bit jealous?”

It seemed that Zachary was indeed fixated on the copper wire tree before leaving.

He felt a mix of emotions. Despite being Serenity’s husband, their relationship lacked warmth. Yet, it bothered him that while Serenity had shared her handiwork with Callum, he received nothing.

His pride prevented him from asking Serenity for a piece of her art, but he couldn’t shake the feeling of being left out without a copper wire plant to display on his own desk. The situation felt oddly isolating, and he couldn’t help but feel a tinge of disappointment towards Serenity.

Chapter 110 Zachary placed the packed food on Callum’s desk and gruffly remarked, “Serenity knows we’re both working at the […]

[20

post-11762","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-married-at-first-sight
["GET
