The food is incredible, and we\u2019ve had a fulfilling meal.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Shawn was left speechless, \u201c\u2026\u201d<\/div>\n<div>\u201cWe\u2019re quite full now. It\u2019s getting late, Shawn. Serenity and I have to head out. Please pass on my regards to my aunt,\u201d Jasmine added.<\/div>\n<div>Shawn, feeling anxious, glanced at Serenity and replied, \u201cAre you leaving already? Jas, the party has only just begun! It\u2019s still early; it won\u2019t wrap up until at least eleven o\u2019clock.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Serenity interjected, \u201cWe have a business to manage tomorrow, so we can\u2019t stay out too late.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>As the two girls stood up, Shawn trailed behind them.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cYou know you could push back the opening time by a couple of hours,\u201d he suggested, trying to keep them around a little longer.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cThat\u2019s not an option. Our peak hours are in the morning, afternoon, and evening. If we miss the morning rush, it could really set us back,\u201d Serenity explained.<\/div>\n<div>With a playful nudge on her cousin\u2019s shoulder, Jasmine teased, \u201cYou should stick around and see if there\u2019s anyone you like! You\u2019re still young, so there\u2019s nothing stopping you from dating.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Shawn glanced at Serenity again, his face turning slightly red as he shyly replied, \u201cI just graduated from college, Jas. I\u2019ll think about marriage once I\u2019ve settled into my job for a few years.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Serenity added her thoughts, \u201cThere\u2019s no need to rush into anything. Shawn is only twenty-two this year; he can afford to wait another couple of years.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Shawn nodded in agreement, but Serenity quickly added, \u201cI remember when you were just a little kid the first time we met. It\u2019s hard to believe how much you\u2019ve grown up now!\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Shawn could only respond with a silent expression, \u201c\u2026\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Unable to convince the girls to stay, Shawn accompanied them as they exited the hotel.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cJas, did you drive here?\u201d he asked.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cYour mom arranged for a car to pick us up,\u201d Jas replied.<\/div>\n<div>She seemed unbothered when she added, \u201cSeren and I can take the cab. You should head back inside, Shawn. Let my aunt know we have to leave. I hope you have a good time.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>The hotel lobby was bustling with people. Everyone\u2019s eyes briefly flicked towards Jasmine and Serenity, but no one approached Shawn, as the girls were unfamiliar to them.<\/div>\n<div>Since the girls preferred not to catch a cab in front of the hotel, they walked to the street before hailing one. They urged Shawn, who had been walking alongside them, \u201cShawn, make sure you hurry back to the hotel. Bye for now.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Shawn waved goodbye somewhat reluctantly as he watched the girls climb into the cab and drive away. He lingered by the roadside for a while before finally making his way back. Upon reaching the hotel entrance, he ran into Zachary, who was just stepping outside. As always, Zachary was the center of attention, flanked by his security detail, showcasing the traits of a natural leader.<\/div>\n<div>Shawn paused at the sight of him, stepping aside to let Zachary pass.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cMr. Lowe,\u201d Zachary acknowledged him as he walked by.<\/div>\n<div>Flattered, Shawn replied with a smile, \u201cMr. York.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>The bystanders were surprised by the friendly exchange between Zachary and Shawn. The Lowes belonged to the elite class, yet interactions with the Yorks were rare. In everyone\u2019s eyes, Shawn was still just a kid. Even though he had entered the family business, he was starting from the ground up, occupying a minor role within the Lowes\u2019 company.<\/div>\n<div>Zachary\u2019s greeting was noteworthy.
