Although he understood that Charlie Wade had always been kind to him, as a grown man, he couldn\u2019t help but feel a little undeserving of such generosity.<\/span><\/p>\n

So, he said to Charlie Wade, \u201cMaster Wade, ever since I\u2019ve known you, not only have you saved my life, but you\u2019ve also helped me in countless ways. Heaven Springs has gained immense fame because of you, and with this foundation, everything has become much easier than before. I\u2019m already deeply grateful\u2014how could I possibly use that money for my own benefit?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Charlie Wade responded sternly, \u201cDon Albert, there\u2019s no need to be so modest with me. What I choose to give you is, in my eyes, what you truly deserve. If it wasn\u2019t deserved, I wouldn\u2019t give it to you, even if you asked.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Feeling embarrassed, Don Albert replied, \u201cMaster Wade, I understand your point. It\u2019s like a generous boss who wants to keep giving raises to his employees, but I feel like I\u2019ve done so little. What I\u2019ve received so far is already more than enough\u2014I don\u2019t feel worthy of any more.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

As he spoke, Don Albert recalled something Isaac Cameron had told him and said with emotion, \u201cOn top of that, Mr. Isaac mentioned that you helped clean up my less-than-glorious past. That was an incredible favor, and I haven\u2019t even had the chance to thank you properly.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Charlie Wade smiled and said, \u201cDon Albert, have you ever heard of companies where even the cleaning staff became millionaires after the company went public?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Don Albert shook his head in disbelief. \u201cIs that even possible? I\u2019ve never heard of such a thing.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Charlie Wade explained earnestly, \u201cIt\u2019s not outrageous at all. The cleaning staff are employees, too. If they worked tirelessly for the company from the beginning and stayed loyal through its growth, they\u2019re considered veterans. Before the company goes public, they may be allocated a portion of stock options. That\u2019s why, once the company goes public, even the cleaning staff can end up with a net worth exceeding a million or more.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

At this point, Charlie Wade spoke again, \u201cOf course, I\u2019m not comparing you to the cleaning lady. Over this period, you\u2019ve been the one who has served me the most. Now that there\u2019s a great opportunity to help you achieve your career ambitions, why wouldn\u2019t I support you?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
