She then suggested to Claire, \u201cClaire, I think we should skip the competition. Let Charlie go on his own. Instead, let\u2019s enjoy some delicious food tonight. A good friend of mine in Japan has invited me out for dinner\u2014let\u2019s join her!\u201d<\/p>\n

Claire asked cautiously, \u201cLoreen, is your Japanese friend a man or a woman?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOf course it\u2019s a woman,\u201d Loreen reassured her. \u201cDon\u2019t worry, I won\u2019t take you to dinner with some random single guy.\u201d<\/p>\n

With a smile, she turned back to Charlie Wade and said, \u201cCharlie, I\u2019ll take care of Claire tonight. You can go to the competition on your own, and we\u2019ll catch up when we\u2019re back at the hotel.\u201d<\/p>\n

Relieved that Loreen had local friends, Charlie Wade agreed, saying, \u201cAlright, just don\u2019t stay out too late.\u201d<\/p>\n

After landing, the three took a taxi to their hotel. Once they checked in, Charlie accompanied the two women to Ginza for shopping. He checked online for the schedule of Aurora\u2019s match, noting that the women\u2019s final was set to start at 7:00 PM. So, at 6:00 PM, he bid farewell to the two ladies and took a taxi to Tokyo Budokan by himself.<\/p>\n

While Sanda, boxing, and wrestling events draw attention worldwide, the overall level of college competitions tends to fall between amateur and professional, often resulting in smaller audiences and lower popularity.<\/p>\n

Charlie Wade had anticipated needing to buy tickets from scalpers upon arrival, but to his surprise, there were discounted tickets available at the venue\u2019s ticket office.<\/p>\n

Noticing empty seats in the front row at the prime viewing location, he promptly purchased one.<\/p>\n

Upon entering the venue, he found that the attendance was about 70%, creating a lively atmosphere. The event had yet to begin, but the big screen displayed highlights of the four main matches scheduled for the night.<\/p>\n

The finals featured the top four competitors in both the women\u2019s and men\u2019s categories.<\/p>\n

The first match was for third place, featuring the 3rd and 4th place competitors from both the men\u2019s and women\u2019s groups.<\/p>\n

The lineup included the women\u2019s third place match first, followed by the men\u2019s third place match, then the women\u2019s championship, and lastly, the men\u2019s championship finale.<\/p>\n
