In all honesty, he was a liar who deserved to face consequences.<\/p>\n

Moreover, Master Lennard had completed the \u2018dragon encapsulation formation\u2019 that day solely to swindle Jasmine out of her money. If Charlie hadn\u2019t intervened, Jasmine\u2019s life would have undoubtedly been in jeopardy.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the Moore family ran a significant business, and if such a large enterprise were to collapse, Charlie could only imagine how many lives would be affected! Jasmine wouldn\u2019t be the only one suffering because of Master Lennard\u2019s actions!<\/p>\n

Thus, Charlie felt there was no justification for a scoundrel like him to remain in this world.<\/p>\n

Before long, Albert\u2019s subordinates arrived and dragged Master Lennard away.<\/p>\n

Master Lennard continued to wail and lament his fate, claiming he was miserable and regretting his actions, but no one felt any pity for him.<\/p>\n

Charlie simply observed him, shaking his head. He had warned Lennard that a bloody disaster awaited him today. Unfortunately, Lennard had chosen not to believe him, and now he was left to face the repercussions of his deeds.<\/p>\n

Once all the issues were resolved, Albert quickly expressed his gratitude to Charlie for everything he had done before driving him home.<\/p>\n

Moreover, he didn\u2019t want Claire to overexert herself. If he were to establish a company for her, she would inevitably have to tackle a significant workload during the early stages. Knowing Claire\u2019s character and determination, Charlie understood that she would push herself too hard, ultimately leading to her suffering.<\/p>\n

Later that evening, Charlie received a phone call from his good friend, Douglas.<\/p>\n

Since helping Douglas teach the adulterous couple a lesson at the hospital, Charlie hadn\u2019t seen him. The main reason was the overwhelming number of family matters he had been dealing with lately, leaving him little time to visit.<\/p>\n

Douglas informed Charlie that he had recovered and was finally being discharged from the hospital today.<\/p>\n

Since Charlie had assisted him in reclaiming his restaurant and securing several million dollars in compensation, Douglas\u2019s first plan after leaving the hospital was to treat some close friends to dinner.<\/p>\n

Charlie immediately agreed, feeling happy that his friend was finally getting out of the hospital.<\/p>\n

Just then, Claire emerged from the bathroom after her shower and casually asked Charlie, \u201cWho\u2019s calling you so late at night?\u201d<\/p>\n

Charlie replied, \u201cIt\u2019s Douglas; he\u2019s just been discharged from the hospital and wants to take us out for dinner. Let\u2019s go together tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n
