Her breathing grew rapid as she clenched her fists in anger.

He wanted to stay by Adriana’s side to protect her and support her. But now wasn’t the time.
“Just hold on a little longer,” Curtis said, holding her hand. “Soon, it’ll all be over.”
One day, the truth would come out.
Adriana squeezed his hand tighter. Being in the cemetery, she didn’t dare hug him, but just having him there made her feel steadier. “I miss you so much.”
She was strong inside, but when it came to love, she was fragile.
She missed Curtis deeply and wanted him by her side all the time.
But that wasn’t realistic. She had to learn how to grow on her own.
“People at the company are pushing me to marry Justin soon.” Adriana lowered her eyes as she waited for Curtis‘ response.
