She got the divorce and bolted 58
Chapter 58
Sienna turned to leave, only to bump straight into Olive at the door.
“What are you doing here?” Olive asked in surprise.
Sienna wasn’t in the mood to deal with her. She brushed past, knocking into Olive’s shoulder, and walked off.
Olive yelped. “Are you blind and deaf now? How rude of you!”
She looked up and spotted Ethan standing inside the office with bits of torn paper still clinging to his shoulder. Her gossip radar instantly lit up.
“Did you and Sienna get into a fight? You two barely even talk,” Olive asked nosily.
Ethan ignored her question and brushed the scraps of paper off his shoulder. “Are you here to ask for money again?”
Olive pouted and clung to his arm, acting spoiled. “Am I that kind of person? I just came to check on my dear brother.”
She paused for a bit and went on, “Did Sienna come here to give you trouble? I can help you get back at her. She’s been talking about getting divorced lately and has a problem with everyone. She even lectured me last time.”
“Divorce?” Ethan paused mid–motion.
Olive replied with schadenfreude, “Yeah. Clayton’s first love came back. With how pathetic Sienna is, there’s no way she can compete. But if she really divorces him, won’t that affect our business dealings with Hale Group?”
Ethan shot back, “Since when do you care about the company?”
Olive puffed out her chest confidently. “In order to protect our interests, I’m willing to sacrifice myself by replacing Sienna and marrying into the Hale family.”
“Clayton wouldn’t even look twice at you,” Ethan said drily.
“Why can’t I compare to Sienna?” Olive huffed.
Ethan glanced at her coolly. “You’re still a kid who hasn’t even finished growing up.”
With that, he strode out.
Olive chased after him, yelling, “I’m all grown up, Ethan! I’ll be 19 soon! I’m throwing a huge birthday party! Hey! Give me some money before you go!”
In a single day, Sienna had gone through an emotional roller coaster. Now, everything was back to square one. She almost wished she had never gotten on the ride.
She felt frustrated but had nowhere to vent it. She didn’t want to go home and face Clayton’s cold sarcasm either, so she went
to a bar alone to drown her sorrows in alcohol.
Michelle, who usually listened to her rants, was already filming on set. Left with no one else to talk to, Sienna slapped a few bills on the counter and started chatting nonstop with the bartender.
She rested her chin on her hand, and her eyes were half–lidded as she asked, “Don’t you think it’s insanely hard to find a job these days?”
The bartender nodded vigorously while wiping a glass. What Sienna said was true, or he wouldn’t be here mixing drinks even when he had a master’s degree.
Sienna took another swig and kept complaining. “I finally landed a job. But then I found out that I only got in through connections. Isn’t that like planting a tree myself, waking up one day to see it bloom beautifully, only to find out someone

else stuck those flowers on it?”
The bartender thought for a moment and tried to comfort her. “Well… at least it has flowers now, right?”

Sienna slammed her glass on the counter. “How is that the same? If my tree blooms, that means it’s the result of my effort. The flowers truly belong to me. But if you pick flowers from another tree and stick them onto mine, what about the other tree? It’s left completely bare!”
Just like how there were only three spots, and she took one by coming in through the back door. She had stolen the chance that rightfully belonged to the third candidate who passed the interview.
“And even if I did get in through connections, couldn’t they have at least told me? Instead, they let me run around showing off like an idiot, only to get brutally mocked by that damn bastard.”
She angrily mimicked Clayton’s tone. “It’s one thing to lie to yourself, Sienna. But to show off so blatantly like this? Are you afraid people won’t know you got in through the back door?”
Pausing to catch her breath, she added, “Tell me, is that something a normal human with some compassion would say?”
Having taken her money, the bartender nodded enthusiastically and replied professionally, “Exactly! What a bastard! People these days are so cold–blooded!”
Sienna nodded in satisfaction and slipped him two more bills. “You really get me. I appreciate you.”
After that, she spent two hours ranting about Clayton. She even brought up past petty grudges like “stealing the blanket in his sleep“. The bartender listened with relish until his boss finally called him away.
Left alone, Sienna drank until the world around her spun.
Slumped over the bar, she muttered, “Bastard… Asshole… Sooner or later, you’ll be the one getting kicked out…”
Just then, Samuel passed by the bar with a few friends. He recognized her at a glance.
A sleazy grin played on his lips. He snapped a photo of the wasted Sienna and sent it to Clayton.
He texted, “Your wife’s drinking herself into misery.”
Clayton replied instantly, “Address.”
Samuel deliberately teased him by texting back, “You sure are unbothered. Aren’t you worried someone might abduct her?”
Clayton’s patience dropped to zero. “Cut the crap.”
Samuel fanned the flames. “Is this how you take care of your wife? You leave her alone and expect others not to make a move? Plenty of men are eyeing her. Are you going to wipe them all out?”
Less than two seconds after he sent that text, his phone rang.
Samuel picked up, and an icy voice came through the line. “Do you have a death wish? Address!”
