The young man let out a quiet sigh of relief and sat down across from Sienna as he waited for her to fill out his questionnaire. She did it very carefully and even paused to think through some of the options before checking them.

Five minutes later, she handed the completed form back to him.

He glanced over it and looked a little surprised. “You like Azure Estate coffee too? That one’s pretty niche.”

Sienna nodded. “Yeah. It’s mildly acidic, and it has a faint chocolate note. Some people think it’s not bold enough, but I think

it’s just right.”

The young man looked as if he had found a kindred spirit. He immediately opened up and talked more. “That’s exactly how I feel! I want to open a specialty cafe in the future that focuses on beans with distinctive flavor profiles like this.”

They hit it off and chatted about everything coffee–related from roast levels to pour–over techniques and the stylistic differences between beans from different regions. The young man even pulled out a notebook and carefully jotted down

some of Sienna’s insights.

Seeing how freely their conversation was flowing, he asked a little shyly, “Um… If you don’t mind, could I do a short interview with you as well? It’s just a few questions. I won’t take long.”

Sienna checked the time. Since she had nothing else to do, she agreed readily. “Sure. Go ahead.”

The college student took a recorder out of his bag and began asking his questions seriously.

Outside the cafe, Hayden was on his way to meet a client when he happened to glance through the glass window and spotted Sienna. He saw her chatting animatedly with a young man, and she even had a faint smile on her face.

Hayden raised an eyebrow and took out his phone to aim it at the pair through the window. He snapped a photo swiftly and casually sent it to Clayton.

He typed several texts and sent them in quick succession.

“Whose wife is this? It looks like she’s living well without someone.”

“Look at her chatting so happily with the kid. Ah, how nice it is to be young and have shared topics to talk about.”

“Maybe it’s because there’s a generation gap with the older one at home.”

After sending the messages, he tucked his phone away with satisfaction and strolled off, feeling pleased about what he’d

done.

Clayton had just finished a two–hour international conference call. He rubbed his aching temples and undid the top button of his shirt before picking up his phone.

The screen lit up, showing Hayden’s messages.

In the photo, Sienna was chatting happily with a young man in a white shirt. She was wearing light makeup, and her long hair was loosely braided. Her outfit that day was a blue shirt paired with an off–white suit skirt. She looked gentle and smart, like a freshly graduated college student.

The young man across from her looked cheerful and handsome. The two of them were smiling as they talked. They could easily pass off as a college–going couple.

Clayton’s expression instantly settled into a displeased scowl.

So that was why she had dressed up nicely and ignored his calls. It turned out that she had gone on a blind date with some kid. How dare she hook up with some punk when her husband was still very much alive and kicking?

He immediately dialed Sienna’s number. This time, it connected quickly.

“What?” Sienna’s voice sounded relaxed. In the background, he could hear the cafe’s soft ambient music.

Clayton asked sharply, “Is your blind date over already?”

“It hasn’t even started,” she replied nonchalantly.

“Sienna, I didn’t give you permission to go on blind dates,” Clayton said, his voice dropping low.

On the other end, Sienna was completely baffled. She guessed his paranoia must be acting up again.

“That’s why I said it hasn’t started. If you keep rambling and saying things that make no sense, I’m hanging up,” she said in

annoyance.

Clayton hurriedly fired off three sentences in a row. “Don’t hang up. I’m hungry. Bring me food right now.”

Sienna almost laughed out of sheer irritation. “Are you still so fixated on that little bit of money? What’s wrong with you? Why do you insist on me ordering you takeout?”

“I don’t care,” Clayton threatened coldly. “Bring it over right now, or I’ll have to reconsider that 50 million dollars.” “Fine. Just you wait,” Sienna snapped and hung up.
