Married at First Sight Chapter 300

Chapter 300
“Ms. Stone, Serenity, please continue your conversation. I’m taking Sonny to the supermarket to pick up some vegetables.”
There was still plenty of seafood from Elisa in the fridge, so they could enjoy a seafood feast today, but some greens were necessary to complement the seafood spread.
Jasmine picked up Sonny and headed out.
As she was carried away, Sonny kept turning back to stare at Elisa. Elisa smiled and said, “Serenity, you have such an adorable nephew.”
“He’s quite the cheeky monkey. Kids these days can be rascals. I’ll get your nephew a toy the next time I visit.”
“That’s fine, Ms. Stone. Sonny has plenty of toys. My husband bought him a lot.”
Elisa replied, “You get him yours, and I’ll get him mine. I just adore that little guy. I want to spoil him with lots and lots of toys. If he were my nephew, I’d buy him the moon if I could.”
Serenity could attest that Elisa would spoil a child completely.
With Jasmine and Sonny gone, Serenity went into the kitchen to prepare the seafood. She asked Elisa, “Ms. Stone, would you like to stay for lunch? It’s a home-cooked meal, but I won’t insist if you’re picky about food.”
While Serenity was confident in her cooking, she couldn’t guarantee that Elisa would enjoy her home-cooked dishes.
After some thought, Elisa replied, “Maybe next time. I waited all morning for Mr. York to pass by, but I didn’t see him. I plan to wait for him at Wiltspoon Hotel later; he goes there for lunch every day.” Serenity smiled and said, “Alright then. You can do this! You’re sure to win his heart.”
“I’ll do my best,” Elisa replied.
With Zachary now the topic of conversation, the girls began to dive deeper into their discussion. A car was…

As Grandma May approached, it became clear that the second-hand vehicle was recently purchased to support Zachary’s cover as a middle-class man. However, when she saw Elisa’s car parked outside the shop, Grandma May quickly climbed back into her car. “Quick! Go, go, go!” she urged the chauffeur, realizing that the spirited Stone girl was present. If she entered the shop, she would be walking straight into trouble.

Confused but compliant, the chauffeur stepped on the gas and drove off as instructed by the elderly woman. Meanwhile, Serenity emerged from the kitchen, hearing the sound of the engine outside. She dismissed it as just another passing car and didn’t step outside to investigate.

Grandma May made her escape without incident and took a moment to call her oldest grandson. When Zachary answered, she warned him, “Zack, the feisty Stone girl is at your wife’s shop. Be careful when you go there for lunch later. Don’t rush in and compromise your cover. Serenity hasn’t fallen for you yet.” Zachary was momentarily speechless. “This afternoon, I… Sure, I will. Thanks for the heads-up.”

Before he could protest about not having lunch at Serenity’s shop, he suddenly remembered his plans to deliver evidence of Hank’s infidelity and their new furry companions to Serenity.
